Sep. 21st, 2004 12:30 amI got a page and a half done today. I've slowed down because I don't want to see what going to happen, happen.
That's such a lame reason, but I know it's true... I'm about to hurt someone that, in the four months I've been working on this monster, I've come to care about- a lot.
I think after this, I'm going to do some genre stuff... not the classy, elaborate genre stuff I love, but, well, as Joe Bob Briggs says "Spam in a cabin." Set 'em up and knock 'em down, nubile young co-eds and their dumb jock boyfriends... oh yeah, the nerd and the virgin. Can't forget them.

After Columbo, I watched Paura nella città dei morti viventi. Doesn't that sound classy? Ok, granted, it's "City of the Living Dead" in English (aka The Gates of Hell).
Can't find my copy of The Beyond, from the same director, Fulci. There's a pacing in his movies, the ones I've seen anyway, that borders on dreamlike. Plus he's a master of the eyeball impalement shot.

I think next week, I'm going to get a passport. My walking permit- Virginia State ID- has and I really don't feel like screwing with the DMV. Plus it'll be fun to pay with my Visa checkcard and when the clerk asks for picture ID show them my passport.
Nevermind the fact that I'll need valid picture ID for the trip in February.
