Law&Order has been pre-empted tonight. I hate the Golden Globes. Decided to watch Star Wars instead. The REAL one, the original... where Han shoots Greedo first in the Cantina scene. Back when Darth Vader was "the Blackest Brother in the Galaxy." -
My friend Amy and I held a Kevin Smith marathon yesterday- Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Dogma. We skipped Mall Rats, but should I ever do another marathon, we'll probably skip Dogma for Mall Rats. I liked the way Kevin Smith had little bits and pieces of shared history among the characters of Clerks and Chasing Amy, a bigger picture painting the world Kevin Smith created. Smith's world of slackers and loosers in the New Jersey trilogy is not for everybody, but is pretty impressive none the less.
Wish I hadn't lent my mom my copy of "Troops". Would be fun to compare it to the real thing - "Troops" is a short film done in "Cops" style about Imperial Stormtroopers from Star Wars.
I had Oriental last nite and froze the fried rice I didn't eat (i digested the rice i *did* eat!!). Just nuked the heck out of it and am now chowing down with my SPORK. I like the work spork- it's a pormanteau word- which means it's a word made from two words slammed together. Ah, to eat spam with a spork for brunch- now *that* would be heaven.
ooooooh. Just saw a preview for the new Stephen King miniseries, Rose Red. It's a haunted house story. I likes the spooky. Watched John Carpenter's "The Fog" last night. spooooooooookie.
I just poured the last bit out of my bottle of Chartreuse. Now I know where I can get it, it's not that tragic.
