Sep. 26th, 2004 10:45 pmHey.
I'm not a lumberjack,
or a fur trader...
I found out that Joe has a semi-regular role on Sue Thomas FB Eye. Too bad it airs opposite of L&O: Criminal Intent... and on PAX.
--
Stalled out on The Novel right now. Started a short story I'm not sure is good for anything, but my brain is working.
--
I found a Canadian dime yesterday. I need to add up my change, not sure how much I've got... probably about twenty bucks worth. Yes, I know, with loonies and toonies, you can get to twenty pretty quickly. The bag (an old Berty Botts bag) is too heavy... odds are, it's twenty in ninety-percent pennies.
--
Finding the coin's a sign... continuing my travel plans for Feb. Memo to self: buy warm sox.
--
Gas Chromatography - you know, it's one of those things I knew about, and I knew how it worked in theory, but there's a little short cartoon here that explains it simply... and in a very very funny fashion.
--
I need to get back to The Novel. I've put too much effort to let this one die on the vine. I need to distance myself a little from the protagonist... still caught up in not wanting the bad thing to happen. Dammit. How do REAL authors do it? I am so tempted to throw in a couple of explosions, a chainsaw and and some vampyres. Publish America would take it.
