The tv show, that is... Made in Canada is Rick Mercer doing Machiavelli in a television production house. The first season's on DVD and it arrived in the mail today with Souvenir of Canada 2. Is it weird that I... well. I sniffed the packages after opening them. They were sealed in Canada, so it stands to reason they'd um... have some Canadian air in them.
Is this one of those moments where things shift from "amusingly eccentric" to "just plain weird"?

I realized today I haven't done much on The Novel in about a week. You know, I look at some of the stuff on the walls of the store... so much derivitive dreck.
Yet another goddam Vampire trilogy.
Gangsta Ho's on Crack.
and let's not forget Nora bloody Roberts.
I am going to finish this thing and I will get it published through a reputable publisher.
Then I will go through my hard drive, find every goddam false start and clamp a pair of jumpercables to their nipples and bring them back to life. The Ghost Story. The NeoUtopian Sci-fi. The Dystopian Sci-Fi Romance. AND THE BLOODY YOUNG ADULT NOVEL.
And if someone says "you know, you really shouldn't jump around so much genre wise", I'll tell them that I'm not doing this to pay the rent, I'm doing it as a less than bloody form of trepanation... there's something in my head and I'm going to get it out.
Oh yeah. That sounds real healthy. I think it's time I went to bed...
