clayhornikI've been delightfully surprised at the closing ceremonies so far. The initial march was nice, "Run Like Hell" being a surprise. "Celebrate" was much nicer that Celebration- I'm worried they may still play that. *Nsync singing the national anthem, amazingly restrained; there's finally an *Nsync song.
Then the Musical numbers- Fascinating rhythm, KISS, Earth Wind & Fire, Gloria Estafan, Harry Conick Jr, Savion Glover tapping to America the Beautiful. I only wish that my elementary school science teacher had lived to have seen it. KISS on the Olympics would have killed her.
It's rather annoying... my eyes are tearing up. I've figured it out... flickering lights + certain pitch harmonics= watery eyes. Really. I *am* a heartless bastid. See my above comment about Mrs. U.
I want something from Roots while I'm up north... one of those Canadian items. I'm an autumn, I should dress accordingly.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the fireworks. For some reason I never liked fireworks when I was younger, but I've learned to like them. I felt cheated New Years Eve where there weren't any.
The kids singing Happy Trails was cute.
Christina Agularo was, as usual, annoying.
Moby was, as usual, Moby.
It's nice to see the guy from Ally McBeal has something to do between episodes.
I hate the channel 10 news... couldn't they wait til the whole thing was over to broadcast? they waited for the last 16 days. goobers.
