Am I jaded?
Shawn lent it to me because there's a bit with Grant Morrison, author of the Justice League and The X-Men. Ok, sure, he's done some other stuff as well. The Invisibles will probably be known as his master work, while the other stuff pays his rent.
Morrison's doing Justice League Confidential right now. Killer psychic Gorillas. The most recent issue ends with a classic ending: Batman on a spit, over a fire. The Gorilla is planning dinner.

claysnews. My LJ friends here are just that for the most part, people I know or people whose work I admire, claysnews is just that, news feeds, tech and alternative journalism, keeping me informed in our chaotic world as well as giving me oodles of potential source material for stories.

(Righ now, I'm a little grumpy with Mike. He gave me a Bionicle, one of those Polynesian Lego Robot things. Has anyone tried to play with Legos lately? They're insane. Put this there and that there. Yeah. I think Mike's trying to make me crazy.)

Working for a better world
Date: 2005-01-18 12:47 pm (UTC)Hope you enjoy that and the farm animals. I don't know what role the police force will play in all of this but I have an idea or two for the video camera. Wouldn't be too difficult to come up with four or five minutes of dialog. Out in the field today wind chills in the negative single digits will wear the electric socks while at Reagan National and Dulles today. Snow and not so cold tomorrow in Chevy Chase, MD and then to lovely Warrenton on Wednesday afternoon. It's starting to look like a frozen weekend with snow possible on Sunday so i may just come home and write or I may wait until the last weekend when it will be warm enough to play golf.
