Amazing Adventures
Jan. 31st, 2005 08:36 pmOk, fairly mundane adventures. I locked myself out of my apartment today and I had to use a ladder to get into my apartment. After Mike C. and I ruined several wallet sized pieces of plastic, we decided to look for a ladder. Fortunately there was one miraculously there in the grass next to my building.
Mike steadied the ladder as I scrambled up the ladder and into my kitchen window, which was unlocked. Let's hear it for lack of secure perimiters.

On a less adventurous front, I picked up Laurie Garrett's The Coming Plague for less than five bucks. It's like the epidemiologist's bathroom book, since it's broken down to a disease per chapter Marburg. Hantavirus. Bolivian Haemorhaggic Fever. Par-tay!!
