Mar. 20th, 2005 01:11 pmRight now I'm hopped up on sugar.
I should know better really... four donuts and a pepsi... bad. We had a meeting at work today and the donuts were an enticement. Mmmm. Donuts.
I can feel my heart beat. If I stop moving, I find myself rocking back and forth in time with the beating.
This *could* be considered a bad thing except that I've found music to play while I'm rocking.
The Sob Sisters are like Rasputina, but Flappers. Depression Era songs on string instruments. They've even got an mp3 for "Ten Cents a Dance" on their webpage. It's free. Go, and listen.

Ahhhh... the crazy thing about the hyperlinked internet... I'm listening to "Are You Making Any Money?" by the Sob Sisters and I click a link on their page to Craig Robertson... and he's got a ukulele cover of "We're in the Money."
Twenty-Three Skidoo, kiddo.
They sure had some fun music back then. Dignified poverty.
I sure hope we carry ourselves as well next time the bubble bursts.
What?
It's coming, mark my words. The collapse will probably happen in the wake of the Great Wave.
After the east coast in engulfed, like in The Day After Tomorrow.
I'm not a pessimist.
It's the sugar talking.
Evil, demon sugar.
Mmmm. Donuts.
