Despite some quality time with my parents over the last couple of days, the last week has been pretty blah. Until this morning. There was an article on NPR about the Sherman Brothers- they're still alive!!- and their movies being turned into stage plays. The movies in question: Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. There was music. Sherman Brothers' song first thing in the morning: snippits from "Feed the Birds," "Fly a kite", "Spoonfull of Sugar", "Truly Scrumptous", and the title song from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
I'm going to have that music stuck in my head all day now. But that's just fine.
