Rupert Everett is going to be on PBS as Sherlock Holmes in the fall. This is the kind of thing that gives me the will to go on.

Five pages into a short story this weekend. First of two companion pieces, using ideas from Lovecraft. Weird Romance.

The universe mocks me. I saw an Ontario license plate - mine to discover, eh? It, of course, belonged to a player for the Admirals. When I got home, there was a new issue of Toro waiting for me. No, I tell myself, I am NOT taking up True North again. Realistically, it was like a stupid retail Mary Sue story.
