Jun. 20th, 2005 10:16 amAnne Bancroft's passing was just too much for me... I had to hide from the world for a week or so.
Not really. Screw up with the phone company took down my net access. I used the time constructively though- got some work done on one piece and started outlining/research on another.
I've also developed a deeper loathing for New Age Snake Oil Peddlers, aided, no doubt in my reading SHAM by Steve Salerno - a look at the self help/actualization movement- note the clever acronym. To balance that out, I've also read Finding Betty Crocker, a biography of the woman behind the icon. Nothing but warmfuzzy Americana.
Sunday was Fathers Day quality time. Breakfast with the parents, then long drive. We ended up taking the ferry to Jamestown, which I haven't done, in oh, decades.
Friday night it was Jason and the Argonauts (with Honor Blackman as Hera!) at the Naro with Doctor Madblood. Afterwards, there was the usual hours worth of chatting that just tops off the experience with whipped cream.
I also saw Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room at the Naro last Tuesday. Man, those bastards were evil.

Yeah. There's some real in depth analysis there... will try to have something to SAY, with y'know, weight and stuff, later.

Boy, I missed you guys...
