Aug. 14th, 2005 01:35 amLunar Park came in this week. I started reading it yesterday... haven't developed a full opinion on it yet, but I've enjoyed everything else Brett Easton Ellis has written, so I think it'll be good.
--
Lunar Park put me in a mind to rewatch American Psycho. As always, the film left me thinking "man, I need to treat my self to a spa." So I got out my fancy bath stuffs and went at it. My skin is now baby smooth and I smell nice.
--
I'm taking a cruise in April- put the deposit down this week- it's on Royal Carribbean. The only cruise line in history with a theme song about an addict... "Here comes Johnny Yen again..."
--
A little girl came up to the counter and asked if we had any books on dragons. I said: "Real dragons or imaginary dragons?"
She said: "Real, please."
It was too cute.
So I showed her the Dragonology books in the kid's section. Just what she wanted.
It's moments like that, that make my job worth it.
