Sunday- 8pm
I was up til 3:30 last night. I *would* have been easier taping Frontier House off of PBS earlier in the week. But Nooooooooooo. I had to stay up late and channel surf, stumbling upon the historian's "The Real World". Three families in the middle of Montana, living an 1883 technology level. Hilarity ensues.

I've decided not to upload my entries til they're sufficiently large, since the LJ just shows the last 20 entries. This way, there'll be something of some substance, quantity if not quality wise, for anyone reading this.

I haven't written a word in the last week or so, here or on the notebooks. I've got the ideas percolating in my skull, just... not producing anything.

Made my pilgrimage to the newsstand on Friday. Cemetery Dance and squid jerky. Yummy.

Speaking of yummy- ran out of ATM cash this afternoon, after Tacobell and a short book buying spree. So dinner was whatever was in the apartment. Mom gave me some stuff from a gift basket a couple of weeks ago... including some crackers and salmon pate. So that, apricot tea and just-add-water mashed potatoes was my dinner tonight. I've subsisted on less. It doesn't make me... nostalgic for the old days, but it makes me pretty... respectful of it. When I look back at the hungry days, and the cold days, I thank the good Lord I made it.

I'm almost out of cigarettes. Brian's calling at 9 so I'll got to bed right after that. Darn me for not stocking up.

I hate PBS, and I hate Georgia Pacific. PBS and their holier than thou "No advertising" line. GP sponsored Frontier House. Their sponsorship blurb carefully weaseled in three brand names, in conjunction with the show of course. In it's proper context. BS. It's a commercial.

Air Canada is flying from Norfolk again. No specials YET. I should call them and see if they're doing something affordable. Right now, the cheapest fare is like $1200. Yeah, right.

Well, I've been doing this about half an hour. time for a smoke or two before bedtime. Good luck, world!
