I got a big ol' parcel o' stuff today, waiting at the door for me like a faithful hound- which i proceeded to eviscreate like a pithed frog. Inside were a zine, a bunch of clippings, and some dubbed cd's (Dead Can Dance, Phillip Glass, Jim White, Stellamara and some others). Thanks to Q for the loot.

I picked up The Others on DVD today.... oooooooh, spooky. I also picked up some blank discs to dub before going to Evil Dead Land. I've already done both versions of War of the Worlds. Not sure the parents would be too into any of Q's music. Might as well do Stephen King's the mist for good measure.

Must choose books... am thinking "House of Leaves", maybe Stephen King's Dark Tower Books. no tv.... uh....

Just realized- I haven't had any soda since I got home. It's funny. Sodas and smokes, I can go HOURS w/out wither then BAM! I realize I haven't had any and need some.
Like right now.

I now have a third favourite writer. Fortunately, most the stuff I have by him is in chap books and not standard format books- I just dont have enough room on the bookcase right now for more books- his name btw, is Geoff Cooper. Never mind Clive Barker, he's the future of horror.

Like comments like that will win me a lot of friends. I *realize* that no one person these days is going to be the future of horror. It looks to me like its going to be made up of movements or schools of thought like the Pre-Raphaelites. Barker, for the most part, has even drifted away from HORROR and become something of a fantasiest (sp?)- after all, you don't see Stephen King signing multi picture development deals with DISNEY do you?
