Reading Richard Laymon. Started Into The Fire tonight, whould be done by time I go to bed. Like most Laymon, it's like watching a car wreck. Normal people, abnormal horrific circumstances. Like a David Lynch movie, or the not-cute parts of Something Wild or After Hours.
I love his stuff.
Only complaint- his bio still reads in the present tense. It's kind of odd when the people who've started reading him in the last couple of years come in and ask for his new book.
Such a loss.

Missed Fantasmo last night, but it was the Night of the Living Dead double feature- the original and the remake. No loss since I've got both on DVD, but next month is a Chuck Norris double feature. Gotta catch that.
