clayhornikI stopped by Empire after work last night, had coffee and decompressed. Chatted with Matt the bartender for a while.
Relaxing end to a stressful day.
Mike called while I was enroute home, he, Dan and Ross were just getting to Empire for drinks. He invited me out, but I was too close to home, so I said no thanks.

I really like Empire- it's intimate without being cramped, and there's something, for me at least, surreal about hearing songs I'd forgot I'd forgotten. Like Simple Mind's "Up on The Catwalk" or Echo & The Bunnymen's "Do it Clean."
-- Hating Brian Keen right now. Because I know what "East Bound and Down" sounds like. So when I read the words, I hear them. I hear Jerry Reed.
I will have my revenge.
I'm going to send him a mix cd that consists of nothing but covers of "Love Is Blue" and "The Girl From Ipanema."
