docbrite!! First I start drinking Chartreuse, then these Sazerac things. Bartender Bob does them good, though.
Always wanting to spread the Gospel of Brite, I chat with the chef.
"There's this author, Poppy Brite..." I start to tell him.
"Yeah, Liqour. I'm reading that right now," he says.
So I let him know that there're two follow up books, Prime and the recent Soul Kitchen and he's pretty happy to know that... then I let him get back to his kitchen while I get back to my drink.
I had two.
I'm SUCH a lightweight these days.

I blame the Sazeracs. I had a totally disturbing dream:
I left work sick, presumably because of the Sazeracs and coworker Cassi gave me a lift- not home, but to her new place. It was a 1940's apartment building, with a sunroom. The sunroom had 70's style wood paneling and I told her I wanted the apartment when she was done with it, even though she'd just signed the lease. She had four pets: two kittens, a goat and a ram. The ram just sat in the corner while I tried to teach the goat to dance. Cassi wouldn't let me dress the goat up. She had to get back to work so she left me with the animals... then I woke up.

Yeah. Dreaming about my coworkers. That's what we call a redflag where I come from.

I'm thinking about selling my other copy of Language of Fear. I feel like Uncle Scrooge with it... I just look at it when I dust the bookshelves... I'm not going to read it again.
I should probably part with it.
The Koja ARC, however, I probably won't. THAT I do have memories associated with it.
