This morning I wake up to "Theme from the Valley of the Dolls". As a kid, for some reason this song creeped me out. Now as a "grown up" I realize what the song was about... and how right I was to be creeped out. Mmmm. Society junkies. Lovely. and here's Dionne Warwick singing about them first thing in the morning. I REALLY need to switch to NPR.
