I was going to write about John Carpenter's The Fog tonight, but I changed my mind. John Carpenter's The Thing is a better choice, considering it's set in Antarctica and well, I have no heat. I wish I had a thermometer so I could see just how effin' cold it is in here. The cold, the wind, the isolation. Man, this is a great movie. The effects, from twenty years ago, are better than most of the stuff done with CGI these days. Cold... so very cold.
