clayhornikJeebus. I'm working on a mix cd for Xmas and do any of y'all have any idea how depressing Christmas lyrics can be? Seriously. (No, not YOU Fran. I *know* you know). Listen and THINK about the lyrics to I Wonder as I Wander. Then there's trying to find the right version so you have to listen to each of them a couple of times. Jewel's was good, but I didn't like what she did with the lyrics (it's just the chorus over and over again). The ol' Babs Streisand has a pretty good version, but ummm, it bothered me ideologically. Is that the wrong word? Kinda like hearing Jewel sing a Kwanza Carol. Found an excellent rendition, and it fits PERFECTLY in my playlist. Whooo-hoooo.

Yeah, so I'm doing that, and it's all rainy and gloomy, so I put in a documentary on 9/11 in. Real effin' smart Hornik. My contacts are well hydrated since I spent like a half hour crying this afternoon. Not straight through, but off and on. And not `cause of the docu, but because of the songs. Oh, how I'm looking forward to spreading some of MY Christmas cheer this year.
