clayhornikI've finally found my radio station from Reykjavik- Utvarp Saga. I was a little hesitant to try them, because the station listing I used listed it as news/talk, which is, of course, perfect for the immersive language thing, but... well, here in the States, news/talk has connotations beyond NPR.
I gave it a chance anyway and started it playing before going to bed, low in the background.
When I woke up this morning, I was greeted by an Icelandic version of Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights".
I can handle waking up like that.

The internet is a great equalizer, ultimately... As I was typing the above entry, it occurred to me that there might be some people reading my blog who might not know that song I'm talking about.
A couple of keystrokes, and ta-da, instant shared cultural point of reference.
