Feb. 11th, 2007 09:27 pmI was excited about watching the BBC Dracula on Masterpiece Theatre until I read the description in tvguide.com:
"This adaptation of Bram Stoker's "Dracula" finds the Transylvanian vampire called to England by a lord who thinks Dracula can cure syphilis."
So tonight it's Family Guy, American Dad, and Crossing Jordan.
"...a lord who thinks Dracula can cure syphilis."
Heh. Man... I'm sure it's going to be visually appealing, but that synopsis just kills it for me.
--
And that's after an afternoon of watching documentaries about UFO's, abductions, cattle mutilations and channelers. So right now, the bar isn't very high.
But high enough that I'm not going to watch Dracula:VD.
