Ok, I've been worrying about the first scenario for years now... Tsunami hitting the east coast. I was bothered during The Day After Tomorrow and the finale of Surface was... unnerving. Now the BBC has gotten into the act.
I actually had sort of an early warning system set up, involving yahoo news alerts and text messages. Because my family has a hard time adapting to SMS alerts, I gave it up. But when it happens, I will take the time to post "I told you so."
Because I'm a smug bastard like that.
