Jun. 6th, 2003 01:55 amI've gotten a little rusty in the "thinking" department. I blame work. The majority of thinking there is done already by people in Michigan. The writing helps a little, as does a thinking game from the A Beautiful Mind website. But I've decided to become proactive in my thinking.
I'm going back to school, sort of. I'm going read for a class that's being taught in Minnesota, called, charmingly enough, Tales of Terror. I'll read the texts, and maybe to the papers too, if I can figure out just what's required. Anyone reading this, feel free to join me. Maybe we can discuss the stories via AOL im.
I re-read some old posts last night. It's kind of funny, since Feb/March I've developed some real life, flesh and blood friends. I still luv my net pals, but real people are pretty nifty. Some are from Kincaids, one is an old friend who's come back into my life and I've even become sociable with one of my neighbours. I like my co-workers, but I'm still loathe to put them under friends, trying to keep the two worlds separate. I'm reminded of Coupland's Generation X - "air family": Describes the false sense of community experienced among coworkers in an office environment. Check out Generation X Neo-logisms Cynical much?
Tonight's viewing: Mr Bones's choice Dario Argento's Inferno
