Work has mellowed out some. I don't want to hurt my co-workers anymore.

I've still not done much on THE NOVEL, but I got a little bit done on a small piece about one of THE NOVEL's survivors. I now understand why I've gotten interested in Newfoundland- it's where the survivor goes afterwards. It's interesting, not being in total control of the characters and situations. There's a potential romance developing in my writing that I had no plans for, but the characters had other ideas.

I was asked yesterday why I don't smile. It was odd because at the time, I thought I was smiling. I guess my idea of "happy" and the usual concept of HAPPY aren't the same thing. Just in case, I picked up a "happy" dvd today. Beavis & Butthead. It's the dvd offered on tv late at night on Springer. Yep, go figure the demographic there. It's pretty funny tho. The best one is where the convince a 12 step group to go to a bar. And there's one with a dirvers ed cautionary film... too bad those arent available on dvd. The real ones I mean. Those hygene and etiquette movies from the fifties. MST3K used to show them. Removed from proper context, they're hilarious.
