I found a bootleg site for books. This bothers me. This site means that authors aren't receiving royalties for works they wrote. Is there someone I can contact to narc on them? Yeah. I know this sort of runs counter to what I didn't say in my last post, but there's a qualitative difference. Movies: actors paid in advance, yes, i know, royalties from broadcast, etc. but a movie is a collaborative effort, while a book is a writer, alone, sweating blood over word choices. And once again, if this hypothetical movie had been release domestically, well, then I *would* be in the wrong. But since it *is* (or hypothetically is) being with held, then the fault lies with... i don't know, but it certainly isn't two brothers who sold out to an anthropomorphic rodent. Because there isn't any movie anyway.
