All in a golden afternoon...
Aug. 11th, 2003 08:18 pmToday was spectacularly unproductive and lazy. I got up, went for coffee and a muffin, came back, surfed the net and slept. I woke up and went for a burrito for dinner. That's it. After I left the burrito place, I sat by the Hague and read. It was nice. Relaxing even. Tomorrow, I may have an adventure. But today, I was mello.
I read "Dark Gods" by TED Klein. He's a not so prolific author who's one of the few really good old school Lovecraft style writers. I think I'll do an overview of his two books, "Dark Gods" and "The Ceremonies", on my book review page soon. Give me an excuse to re-read "The Ceremonies". Plus he's got a new collection coming out from Subterranean Press soon. Wonderful.
