Dinner at PF Chiangs tonight with the parents.  Not impressed.
There's something wrong about blonde waitresses at a Chinese restaurant.
And the funeral statues... I can't remember where I read about some place using them and being told they were ... well, in bad taste and the American marketing person ignored the concern.  Maybe it was in Fortune Cookie Confidential.
And the dessert menu... dear lord, "Great Wall of Chocolate Cake"?

Next time, we're going to Jade Villa and have congee and real tea and and wait staff who if they are blonde, it'll be because of a chemical process and not genetics.

Relatives keep trying to drag me to PF Changs. "It's authentic", they claim. Bah. I'll stick to the places that look like a diner, where they have to drag out the one person who speaks English to take my order.

lol... the last Asian restaurant I went to had mostly blonde waitresses and cashiers. I thought that was pretty weird/wrong, too.
