clayhornikI've fallen behind in my entries from the last few days- some minor catching up-
I've become addicted to Invader Zim... I found some download site for episodes. My dad got me a cd burner, so I'm saving all the episodes on cd-rom.
There's a new Stephen King miniseries on ABC- Rose Red. It's a haunted house story. He's cribbing from Shirley Jackson's Hill House. He even quotes her. It's good eye candy so far. Historical flash backs are interesting- some of them are in black in white with some colour tinting.
Four weeks from now, I'm going to be in another country. Go Mapleleafs!
The Thermasilk commercials are wonderful little works of art... best Medusa I've seen. Would love to see a movie filmed with the same tone of the commercials.
Was off today, spent it with Amy. Am off tomorrow, and Tuesday. Will probably be quite insane by time I go back to work- free time coupled with mega doses of Invader Zim. NOT a good combination as far as I'm concerned.
Am getting through one of the projects pretty quickly now. Should spend tomorrow working on that, but will probably either go see a movie or sleep.
Have decided that if I ever try to write a "haunted house" story, I'm going to be damn sure it's good... and original, in some aspect. I read a novel by Douglas Clegg called The Infinite that was just great, and Matheson's Hell House, and Rose Red... but they're all reflections of The Haunting of Hill House. HOW can you measure up to that..
