I did get up when I heard streaming water, the rogue sink nightmare scenario was the first thing in my head- but nope, it was the coffeemaker- I'd programmed it to start automatically.
The rodents in the walls have been energetic this morning. I'm thinking squirrels now, rather than rats. Not that it's any less annoying. skritch skritch skritch.

Watching the local news... the sponsor seems to be a chimney sweep company called Step in Time. They have the worst jingle in history... seriously annoying. Makes me want to call Disney's lawyers and mention the whole Mary Poppins thing.
Crap.
Now I've got that song in my head- with Dick Van Dyke's "accent". Argh.
