clayhornikOk, 100+ hours now. They're saying "Thursday", but oddly enough, not specifying WHICH Thursday. Is this usual? "When Disaster Strikes" in New Orleans, is power off for days at a time?
Going to the parents tomorrow. Hot water... mmmm. I've developed a layer of stuff that the cold water and soap just don't seem to be affecting.
Odd pluses to the situation: listening to Rob Zombie on my portable radio while I illuminate my apartment by candle light, writing with my portable computer. I'll probably read a short story after I log off. This low tech/high tech thing is pretty neat. Like the weird Dark Deco of Batman, the animated series. Gotham by Gaslight, Norfolk by Candle light. We're too into our tech... (not even going to bother to ramble incoherently, just going to log off).
