Reading Del Toro/Hogan's The Strain.
Vampires.
EVIL vampires.
No angst.  No sparkles. 

I like it.
Not feelin' the love for their Op Ed piece in the NYT.
Dunno why.  It just left me cold.
Of course, I don't think I'd have picked up The Strain without it.
