I've seen replies in blog discussions consisting of a single word:
This.
I don't get it.
If anyone knows, plz explain.  I tried to google.
You can't just google a single word.

It's basically another version of IAWTC - I agree with this comment. It's just been shortened to a single word. With the emphasis on "this".

Urban dictionary comes in hand in situations like this :)

You can't google for restaurants named "B" very easily, either, as I recently discovered. ;-)

It's basically equivalent to "+1" or "word", implying agreement without having to come up with any content. On more Facebooky places doing that sort of thing is quite popular since it's a way to wave at the user and say "yes, I'm here, I still like you and I agree". (although I do admit to using it occasionally when people have come up with excellent arguments which I feel do not need adding to)

ever stand next to someone and they say exactly what you would have said had you opened your mouth?

you look at them, you point at them, you say nothing.

"this" is the digital equivalent of such a moment. the binary "i couldn't have said it better myself."

and also, tits.
