Thinking about getting back to "writing" more.  Revisiting my old stomping grounds at livejournal... things have changed, both on the site, but not too much, and with me, my profile at least.   Looking at my links, only two of the eight - my flickr and my youtube are still valid.  Then I made the mistake of scrolling through my flickr account... Downtown, Ward's Corner.  If the place you love is gone, then it doesn't matter where you live does it?  When we travel to visit friends in the Tidewater area and I sigh a little bit when we pass the Chinese restaurant on Granby Street

and Perry asks if I'd like to move back and then I think of these places

and THEN I consider the traffic... and say "Hell no."
I live walking distance to a national park and I saw a bear outside of my living room.  Where I am is pretty good.
But I wouldn't discount moving again... now that I've cut my roots, maybe I can really grow.

Wow. I've forgotten how to do layout. And it's kind of plodding and disjointed. I need to work on that.
