How Strange.
Jan. 10th, 2015 12:10 amI'm watching the seventies tv movie Doctor Strange based on the comicbook soon to be a motion picture starring Benedict Cumberbatch. It's not bad, seriously dated, but it's got Jessica Walter as Morgan LeFay, so she's fun.
Special effects on par with the best of what BBC was doing at the time (cough*Doctor Who*cough) but because it was produced through Universal, it's got some polish.
I'll write more about that in my other blog (Trapped in the Seventies), but I'm seriously annoyed with Marvel Comics. They've just announced a big project with lots of fan interest, even if it's because of Cumberbatch and their webpage is all Avengers!! There's this page but it's almost as if they're only interested in promoting digital issues, rather then print trade paperbacks- or even hardcovers. Amazon has a hardcover listed, coming out in May- nothing on the Marvel site, or maybe there is and it's just a user hateful site.
