Resuming my "three things that make me happy", culinary version.
These dishes intrigue my imagination and taste buds, but I'll probably never make them.  I'm ok with that.  The thought of them is enough to keep me happy.

First off, is slow cooker stuffed beef heart. It's a healthy recipe, from a paleo eating website (whatever that means), but organ meats aren't too popular in my household.

Second is osso bucco, from Giada DeLaurentis here, but I became obsessed with it after seeing Hannibal Lector prepareit and that sort of creeps people out a little.

The third dish is sanguinaccio dolce.  An Italian chocolate dessert, the key ingredient is pigs blood.  Yes.  AND Chocolate.  The lack of entheusiasm on the part of organ meats I mentioned above?  Oh yeah, that goes double for blood based dishes.

I'd try and do it as a dish for one- of any of these- but I'm not sure how the ingredients in the second and third would scale down; and for the first, the primary ingredient is a whole beef heart... so, perhaps I could get a calf's heart.  Maybe that would work.

Thankfully, it wouldn't be too much of a chore to get the difficult ingredients- there's a butcher shop nearby- Two Fat Butchers. I'm sure they'd be able to supply the specialty ingredients that I might not get at Food Lion.
