hmm, Contemporary society should be nuked from orbit. Start with LA. If the "City folk" are representitive of the majority of mankind, at least American humanity, we're screwed. Shallow, plastic.
There aren't too many chances to see actual awe or wonder on television. The reactions of the Amish kids are honest and refreshing.
Their first exposure to the ocean was amazing. I can't wait to see how the tinkerer of the group, Mose, reacts to computers.
I've cued up The Devil's Playground at Greencine.
