Clay's meme.
Aug. 12th, 2004 11:54 pmIt's a simple one:
What movie or movies can you fall asleep to that would normally scare other people?
The Exorcist. Aside from the shouty bits, it's surprisingly a quiet horror film.
The Fog. Something about the small town horror that gets me.
The Beyond. SLOW hypnotic Fulci movie. Took me multiple viewings to watch it without falling asleep. It's great.
The Thing. The score + the snow = sleep.
Oddly enough, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me doesn't allow me to sleep well, I have a tendency to wake up during the club scenes... weird music + strobe lights. Not something I like waking up to.
(rather like the time I fell asleep to a video- can't remember the movie but it was on VHS tape, remember taping 3 or 4 movies in SLP on to a single tape?- and I woke up midway two movies later- Apocalypse Now. That was... interesting.)
