clayhornikWatching War of the Worlds. Forgotten how much fun it was. Production values still hold up. Acting's very 50's - go figure. I remember watching it as a kid... loved it then, still love it. Interesting bit... the alien ray "neutralizes mesons" - it's techno babble, yeah, but it was, and to the average person, a pretty obscure particle. Watched an Invader Zim ep today where Zim saw a Zim-ified "War of the Worlds" on TV and became germ-aphobic.
